MitchRich Communications is a full-service communications agency serving nonprofits and impact-driven businesses that are passionate about social change. They help organizations engage their audiences, elevate their issues, and multiply their impact.
THE CHALLENGE:
MitchRich Communications needed to expand its capacity to meet the evolving marketing needs of a large-scale non-profit client, a research institute that funds research on health and racial equity. The institute’s objective was to raise awareness of their grantees’ key findings among policymakers, advocates, and change agents across the country. They needed a writer to work with grantees to distill the research findings as they get published and produce blog posts, optimized to speak to non-researchers who work in and with various levels of government. The client also struggled with gaining visibility and expanding their influence online, and wanted more broad dissemination of the research through multiple channels.
THE SOLUTION:
At The Allyson Group, we worked with MitchRich and the client’s communications team as a reliable strategic partner in project management, strategy, and content development. We supported grantees directly by drafting or editing their drafts of mid-stage or end-stage blogs, keeping the content pipeline full and increasing the rate of publishing. We worked with key stakeholders at the institute to find additional pathways for disseminating the work, conducting media research and list building.
We translated complex research data into compelling but simple language that touches the hearts of policymakers and sparks change.
